Your FRANC List

Greetings, fellow disciples of Jesus,

Who’s on your FRANC list?

What’s a FRANC list, you say?
I’m so glad you asked. It’s a list of names, organized in groups so as to try to cover all the people you know.

You might formulate such a list as you consider whom you want to invite to a party or join you in a business venture. I’d like you to consider formulating a FRANC list for whom you’ll be praying.

Specifically, I invite you to make a list of the people in your life who don’t believe in Jesus, who do not trust in Him, who do not know Him as their Savior. There might be people on the list who have never heard the story of Jesus (as far as you know). It might include some people who once confessed faith in Christ, but have since fallen away from Him. It might include people who practice other religious traditions and people who say they do not believe in God at all.

So, who’s on your FRANC list?

What’s this list for, again?

Pray for the people on the list. Pray that they may come to know Jesus and the joy and peace and love and life He has for all who believe. Pray for God to send someone into their lives who will speak the gospel to them in a way that they can hear it as good news for them. Pray that they will be open to hearing such news. Pray to see if God would send you to be the bearer of that news.

Romans 10:13-15, 17–
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”…So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.

Praying for you, in the name of Jesus,
Pastor Mike
